The location of the cabin was amazing - set in a peaceful and tranquil environment with beautiful views. It was a great opportunity to disconnect from the world and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature. The hosts were also very friendly and welcoming, and their two dogs paid us frequent visits, which added to the charm of our stay. It was comforting to know that the hosts were accessible if needed, but they also respected our privacy.
The lack of nearby shops. It was quite inconvenient not to have any stores in close proximity to the cabin.

Our stay at Carrowkeel Cabin was absolutely delightful. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views and plenty of opportunities for walks and hikes to nearby historical sites like Carrowkeel Tombs and Keash Caves. We couldn't have asked for a better location to explore the area's rich history. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short break. The owners, Michelle and her partner, were lovely and made us feel right at home. We even had the pleasure of daily visits from their adorable dog and cat. The cabin had a cute little BBQ area for us to enjoy, and there was a pub/restaurant just a short distance away. We highly recommend trying the delicious food at the "Cactus" Mexican restaurant in the nearby village of Ballymote. It was a truly fantastic stay, and we can't wait to book this hidden gem again. we highly recommend Carrowkeel Cabin for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Our stay at Carrowkeel Cabin was excellent value for money. The cozy room had comfortable beds, beautiful countryside views, and a heater that quickly warmed up the space. The location was peaceful and conveniently close to historical sites. The staff, especially Michelle, were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable stay.
The only improvement I would suggest is to offer a better breakfast option.
